2025 UWA College tuition fee increase

23 September 2024

2025 UWA College tuition fee increase

From 1 November 2024, UWA College tuition fees will be increasing.

Students with outstanding offers issued on or before 31 October 2024, must accept their offer before 1 November 2024 to secure their UWA College course fees at our 2024 prices. Students who don’t accept their offer by this date will be re-issued with a new Letter of Offer which will include the increased 2025 tuition fees they will be required to pay.

However, there’s still time to lock-in your student’s tuition fees at our 2024 prices and help them save up to AUD $2,400*. If you confirm your students’ place by 31 October 2024, you’ll help your student beat the annual tuition fee increase.

Is your student eligible for the 2024 tuition fee lock in?

  • Students must hold an offer for a UWA College Foundation or Diploma program starting in 2025.

  • A UWA College academic pathway offer packaged with a UWA CELT Language and Communications Essentials (LCE) course starting in 2025 are also eligible.

  • Students must meet any conditions outlined in their offer letter and submit their signed Acceptance Form (Section 4 of their Letter of Offer) and first payment (Section 3 of their Letter of Offer) before 1 November 2024

  • Students must meet all the conditions of their offer (Section 1 of their Letter of Offer) before they can accept and make their first payment.

As such, we encourage you when counseling your students to allow enough time for them to be able to meet their conditions and provide the necessary documentation.

How can your students meet their conditions?

Under some conditions, your student can accept their Conditional Offer and begin preparations for studying in Perth. These conditions include:

1. Academic conditions (results required by census date):

  • If a student only has an academic condition and has already satisfied any other requirements, including English language, then your student can accept their offer subject to providing their final results by census date (end of week 4 of trimester).

  • If a student has a condition that says: “This offer is Conditional on completing MATX0720 Mathematics Fundamentals as part of your course” student can accept their conditional offer. This condition is put in place because your student doesn’t have the required or equivalent level of Australian Year 10 mathematics and will need to do this unit as part of their pathway course.

2. 'Other' under 18 and ID requirements (documentation required on acceptance):

  • If a student is U18 and has no other conditions to satisfy, our Admissions Team will add “Other” to their conditions to indicate that their U18 documents are still required as part of the acceptance process.

  • If a student has a condition that says: “This offer is conditional upon providing a clear, coloured scan of your original valid passport photo page” then your student can accept their conditional offer. At the time of acceptance, they can provide a copy of their passport as it is needed for issuing a CoE and their visa application.

Other conditions will require your student to meet the condition before they can accept their offer. These include:

1. English language conditions

A student cannot accept their offer if they have any outstanding English language conditions, including a requirement of English language test results.

There are some exceptions to this rule for students completing SPM, STPM, GCE A Level, GCE O Level, Singapore ‘O’ Level, Singapore ‘A’ Level and IB Diploma, where the students’ English language subject may be used to meet our English language entry requirements.

2. Genuine Student (GS) requirement

These conditions must be met before a student can accept their conditional offer:

  • Genuine Student (GS) assessment requirement

  • Study Gap explanation

  • Release letter from an Australian institution.
