Prepare for direct entry to Year 1 of an undergraduate degree from the University of Exeter. Choose from 150+ subject areas, ranging from accounting, business and management to biological and environmental sciences, computer science, engineering and humanities.

An accelerated 2-term option is available to students with a higher level of English – or choose the 4-term option for extra English language support. You can also take the opportunity to complete a work placement or study in another country as part of your degree, providing you meet the entry requirements.

  • In scientific modules, students carry out experiments in our science lab and learn how to produce laboratory reports.
  • In business modules, students can analyse current business case studies, and gain working knowledge of financial reporting and the basic techniques of management accounting.
  • In engineering modules, students learn how to use software to solve problems, and gain practical experience through laboratory work in the university’s electronic and materials testing laboratories.
  • In humanities and social science modules, students can look at the impact of environmental, political, economic, and social systems, and analyse film techniques and the film industry.

  • A small number of specialist progression degrees might include compulsory modules to give students the best preparation for their intended degree. Some degrees are only available for certain intakes.
