UWA College have some great news about student accommodation! Despite the high demand for accommodation across the entire sector, UWA College pathway students can rest assured they will be able to make a home away from home in Perth.
With options to live on-campus at The University of Western Australia’s (UWA) Residential Colleges or experience all that Australian culture has to offer with our Homestay option, there’s something to suit every student.
UWA College has secured rooms across three of UWA’s Residential Colleges located on campus, ready to welcome our students from February 2023. If your students prefer a homestay experience, this is also a great option with many families ready to welcome students from January 2023.
Follow these four easy steps to secure accommodation for your students:
When completing an application through Partner Portal or INTO Study, make sure you indicate that you would like UWA College to help your student with accommodation by selecting Residential Colleges or Homestay on the application form for pathway students.
Help your student to accept their Letter of Offer!
Your student will need to make their first payment, including the accommodation deposit, which will now be included in the total owing on the Letter of Offer.
Once payment is received, the UWA College Student Services team will be in contact to finalise your students’ accommodation selection. If your student has selected Residential College as their preferred accommodation, the Student Services team will provide a list of Residential College options currently available.
Please note that accommodation works on a fist come first served basis. This means it is important to accept and pay for your offer as soon as possible so you will have a wider choice of options. Depending on your student’s selection, accommodation fees range from AUS$290-$600 weekly.
If your students are unsure if they want UWA College to help secure their accommodation simply leave the accommodation section blank or select Private Accommodation. If at a later stage, after having accepted their Letter of Offer and making payment, your student requires assistance with their accommodation, they are most welcome to contact us. Simply complete the Student Accommodation Preference Form and send it to us at uwacollege@uwa.edu.au.
