INTO North America 2024 admissions process update

Thank you again for your long-standing support of our INTO North America partners. We’re excited to continue our collaboration together with the following improved process to address the challenges faced in 2023 in relation to the admissions process.

Over the past two years, INTO’s university partners have benefitted from unprecedented application growth. At INTO, we understand the importance of timely admission decisions for our students and valued agent partners. We are pleased to provide an update on our progress improving the efficiency of admissions and application decisioning.

Our 2024 admissions update: estimated applications turnaround times

By modeling our projected application growth for 2024, INTO in collaboration with our comprehensive university partners are able to offer assurances about estimated application turnaround times starting the end of January 2024, as indicated in the table below. In the table, you will find admission process updates for Drew University, Saint Louis University, Suffolk University, Hofstra University and The University of Alabama at Birmingham partnerships. Oregon State University and George Mason University updates will follow in early 2024.

Note: The estimated times above indicate duration in business days from completed application until issuance of an admissions decision. This does not include extra time needed for applications requiring additional information/documentation from the applicant.

Does this update include both Pathway and Direct Entry programs? 

• Our admissions process updates include center-based and Direct Entry programs, but please pay attention to the specific program details included in the notes. 

When are the admission process updates effective? 

• They are effective at the end of January and onwards. 

Does anything else impact the turnaround times listed above? 

• This does not include extra time needed for applications requiring additional information documentation from the applicant or agent. 

Are the estimated times measured in business days? 

• These estimated times indicate duration in business days from completed application until issuance of an admissions decision.

When will we know the updated admission process for Oregon State University and George Mason University? 

• Oregon State University and George Mason University are expected to provide turnaround time assurances in early 2024.

When will there be another update? 

• Progress updates will be communicated in late January 2024. 

Where do I check for applications status updates?
