Increased demand and faster sell out

The 2024/25 academic year has seen an increase in demand for student accommodation, with many options selling out faster than in previous years. With the increased demand, we advise students to book accommodation at the earliest opportunity.

And don’t forget, unlike many private providers, INTO offers accommodation contracts tailored based on their course dates and length of study plan, instead of fixed contracts of 44 and 51 weeks – saving students unnecessary additional weeks of accommodation costs.

Improved UK accommodation process

Students applying for an INTO pathway will now choose their accommodation when they accept their offer.

When completing their acceptance form, they should click on the links to view and select their preferred accommodation type, then make their initial payment via INTOPay.

New steps for booking UK accommodation: 

1. Download the ‘accommodation request form’ linked on the student’s offer letter. 

2. Complete the form and return it along with the 'offer letter acceptance form’. 

3. Click the INTOPay link and select ‘yes’ for accommodation. Accept the offer and provide the initial payment to reserve accommodation.

These changes apply to all UK INTO centers, except for INTO Lancaster University. At INTO Lancaster, students over 18 will receive an invitation to apply for accommodation in mid-June and all students will receive their final offers in mid-August. New room types and offerings

INTO Newcastle University opened its spacious, Platinum Studios to students this academic year. This studio apartment includes exclusive use of the student’s own study room, kitchen and bathroom – all just a 1-minute walk from class.

During the summer period, most INTO centers have spare capacity and can offer accommodation to any student, including non-INTO students. Centers can accommodate large-scale summer school bookings or for individual students. For more information, please contact stuart.ramsay@intoglobal.com.

Updates from Australia 

Introducing UWA College Rental Apartments 

UWA College has a new accommodation option – rental apartments with 12-month tenancy agreements. Students can choose a private 1-bedroom or shared 2-bedroom apartment in this newly refurbished complex. 

Located close to UWA’s Perth campus and public transport, students can easily travel to class and explore the city. 

Ahead of UWA College’s June and October intake, there are still rooms available in city-based purpose-built student accommodation and the UWA College Rental Apartments.

A new Accommodation Coordinator 

UWA College has welcomed a new Accommodation Coordinator to the team, streamlining all accommodation processes and supporting students at every stage of selecting their home away from home in Perth. 

The UWA College Accommodation Team have also introduced a new email address for all accommodation matters: uwac-accommodation@uwa.edu.au. The team will respond to any inquiry within 24 hours during UWA College’s business hours.
