Your programs at George Mason University

George Mason University offers a number of routes to admission.

International Direct programs grant students the direct entry experience with tailored academic and cultural support during their first year of undergraduate studies. This ensures a seamless transition into university life.

International Year One and the Undergraduate Transfer Program allow students to start earning credits towards their bachelor’s degree while receiving additional academic, social and cultural support during their first year.

The Graduate Pathway or Graduate Bridge programs help students improve the skills needed for advanced graduate study and academic research at Mason. INTO Mason’s unique two-semester Bridge program allows students with select three-year undergraduate degrees to begin taking classes in their master’s program while completing core education requirements.

Graduate Certificate Pathway programs enable students to earn a graduate certificate as a stand-alone option or to apply the certificate credits toward one of our master's degree programs.

Note: Certain classes (like labs) may have additional fees included. Some programs may also have additional entry requirements or prerequisites, like auditions or portfolios.
