More about the INTO Hofstra University Center

Welcome to INTO Hofstra University

Here at Hofstra University, we enhance your degree program with experts in the classroom and New York City within reach. Start setting in motion the milestones you want to hit in your career by teaming up with your celebrated professors and bright, up-and-coming classmates. You never know which handshake could turn into a job after graduation. As an international student at Hofstra, you have the resources you need to succeed in your US degree program.

Our approach to university leans on two pillars: experiential learning and personalized education. We are able to deliver degree programs specific to where you want to end up after graduation by maintaining a 13:1 student-to-faculty ratio, updating our curriculum based on industry standards, and connecting with top executives in New York City and beyond.

Not everyone can say they can take a spontaneous trip to New York City. Living on Long Island, you are only 45 minutes away from the city by train. You can say yes to the big-time internship in Manhattan. You can say yes to buying student-rush tickets to the latest box-office hit on Broadway. You can say yes to trying the dessert trending in everyone’s Instagram feeds. You can say yes when people ask if you found restaurants and grocery stores with food you miss from back home. Whatever it is, chances are New York City has your answer. Go out there and find it.

Benefit from a big city and small community

When you study in our English language and Pathway programs, we help you adapt to American university life and prepare you for not only your degree studies, but your career pursuits as well. You'll meet friends from around the US and from all over the world when you participate in activities and gain transferable skills inside and outside the classroom.
