From the moment you arrive in Lancaster to the day you progress to your degree, you'll have access to a wide range of tailored support.
Whether you need help with opening a bank account, registering with a doctor or finding the best place for a coffee, our dedicated Student Services team are there when you need them.
24/7 support – round-the-clock security and an out-of-hours emergency helpline.
Visa workshops – visa and immigration support services.

Language advisers – additional support if you have a lower level of English.
Progression support – individual progression support, events and open days.

Helping you throughout your studies
During your first week with us, there'll be a variety of events to help you settle in, discover Lancaster and get to know your new classmates, teachers and support staff.
Your orientation week will also include:
an introduction to your program and modules, along with module taster sessions
INTO Center, campus and city tours
student support and wellbeing sessions
help opening a UK bank account and registering with a doctor.
Your teachers at INTO Lancaster understand how challenging it can be to learn in a new study environment, so will put you at ease from your first class. Dedicated to your success, they'll help you develop the academic knowledge and study skills you need to excel at Lancaster University.
At the beginning of your program, you'll be assigned your Personal Tutor who'll provide one-to-one academic and welfare support whenever you need it. They'll help you settle in, monitor your academic progress and ensure that you get the most from your time with INTO.
Once you progress to your degree, specialist teams at Lancaster University will look after you. They offer everything from wellbeing and mental health support to academic help and careers advice. You can also access the university's career services and resources after you graduate, for as long as you need.
