Combine your preparation studies with BSc (Hons) Architecture in a single four-year study plan. After successful completion of the first year, you'll continue directly to Year 1 of your degree at Queen's University Belfast.

If you do not meet the minimum entry requirements for this program, you should apply for an International Foundation in Architecture.

Key Information

  • A single CAS and one study visa for the full duration of your studies.
  • The only Russell Group university with no portfolio requirement for the International Foundation - you'll prepare your art portfolio during the pathway program.
  • Progress to a degree at a UK top 20 architecture school (The Complete University Guide 2025), recognized as a Part 1 qualification by RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects), and accredited by the Board of Architects Malaysia.
  • Develop self-evaluation skills through weekly informal critiques of work produced in class.
  • Learn in classes set up as workshops, and have the opportunity to draw and make detailed models.
  • Receive personalized support in smaller class sizes during your first year of study, while improving English language and study skills.

Academic Requirements
Completion of 12 years of schooling (or the local equivalent to meet the same standard) with good grades. All students must hold a GCSE grade 4/C Mathematics or equivalent.
English Language Requirements
IELTS 5.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 in all subskills) or equivalent.
