Undergraduate Progression Scholarship

Eligibility

- Successful completion of International Year One or Undergraduate Transfer Program and matriculation to Hofstra.

- Achieve a minimum GPA 3.5 on International Year One or University Transfer Program to qualify for $4,000-$10,000 per year.

- Achieve a minimum GPA 3.75 on International Year One or University Transfer Program to qualify for $8,000-$13,000 per year.

- Maintain consecutive enrollment at Hofstra as a full-time degree-seeking student in an approved undergraduate program.

- Renewable for up to three years as long as student remains in good academic standing (maintaining a GPA 3.0+).

Graduate Progression Scholarship

Eligibility

- Successful completion of Graduate Pathway program or Integrated Master’s Program.

- Achieve a minimum GPA 3.5 to qualify for $2,000 per year.

- Achieve a minimum GPA 3.75 to qualify for $4,000 per year.

- Maintain consecutive enrollment at Hofstra as a full-time degree-seeking student in an approved graduate program.

- Renewable for up to one year as long as student remains in good academic standing (maintaining a GPA 3.0+).

Undergraduate Hofstra Scholarship and Merit Awards (Direct Entry)

Maximum value

$120,000 ($30,000 per year)

Eligibility

- No scholarship application required; qualified applicants automatically considered.

- Applicable to full time, first year Direct Entry undergraduate international enrollments.

- Awarded based on holistic review of the information supplied on the admission application.

- Achieve a minimum GPA 3.0+ and SAT 1150 (or ACT 23), or minimum GPA 3.5+ without standardized test scores.

- Award amount varies based on GPA and standardized test scores:

Graduate Direct Scholarship

*Scholarship amounts and eligibility requirements are subject to change. Renewable scholarships require students to meet a minimum GPA requirement each semester.

Graduate Direct MS in Computer Science Scholarship

Eligibility

- Total scholarship award is $15,000 over the 3-semester program ($5,000 per semester).

- This scholarship is only applicable to Direct Entry (DE) MS in Computer Science students.

- Must pay $200 tuition deposit by the confirmation deadline.

- Students must register for classes prior to their arrival in the US.

- Must maintain good academic standing during the program.

*GRE is no longer required

How much money is on offer?

The amount of money available through scholarships can vary. Remember that a scholarship will only cover some of your tuition fees. You will still have to fund your remaining tuition fees and your accommodation, insurance, visa and other living costs in full. For more information, see our fees and finance page.

What is the process of applying for a scholarship?

If you receive an offer letter after submitting your application to study with us, ask your education counselor whether there is a scholarship available. All scholarships are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
