Teacher with students

Your teachers at INTO Lancaster University

You’re about to embark on the academic journey of a lifetime – and one of the most important factors for success is the support you get from your teachers.

INTO Lancaster University’s dedicated teaching staff are experienced in helping international students succeed. They know exactly how you can achieve the grades, gain the skills and build the knowledge you need to progress to university – and they’ll guide you every step of the way.

What you can expect from your INTO teachers

“I like to foster a positive environment where I encourage respectful dialogue, cultivate a safe space for learning and making mistakes – and celebrate teamwork.”

Gary Troughton

Biology and Chemistry Teacher

“Learners consistently encourage me to reflect on my teaching and how I can be a more effective teacher. I hope I enable them to take away knowledge, information, a broadening of their horizon and to see the world from a different perspective.”

Natalie Galligan

Contemporary Issues in Law, Politics and Society Teacher

“Although student success is the most important aspect, people perform better and achieve their goals when studying in a more relaxed environment. I always encourage students to ask questions as well. There are no stupid questions!”

“For many years I’ve been working in marketing and business management and enjoyed working with people on projects. The ‘people’ aspect inspired me to change my career to teaching.”

Renate Reichardt

Business and Economics Teacher and Personal Tutor

“I encourage my students to think critically and to become life-long learners who continually ask the big questions. Sometimes they tell me about things I didn’t know even existed. I really love that.”
