Scholarships at UWA College
At UWA College, our commitment to your success starts from the moment you choose us. We believe in supporting you every step of the way, so have developed a range of scholarships to further fuel your ambitions and support your career goals.
Whether you’re about to study a Foundation or Diploma program with us, or are a high-achieving UWA College student ready to begin your studies at The University of Western Australia (UWA), we have a scholarship for you.
* The Global Excellence Scholarship will be awarded when a student has been admitted to their UWA Bachelor’s degree and is currently only available for 2024. The final Global Excellence Award will be assessed by UWA Admissions on the submission of your academic transcript.
What scholarships are available?
UWA College Success Scholarship
Receive up to AUD $10,000* towards your UWA College tuition fees with a UWA College Success Scholarship.
Reducing the financial pressure of studying overseas, with a UWA College Success Scholarship you can focus on what really matters: getting the most out of your time at UWA College and setting yourself up for success at UWA.
All students who receive an offer to study a Foundation or Diploma program at UWA College will be considered for the Scholarship. Our specialist regional teams will then assess each application on a case-by-case basis, where you could:
receive up to AUD $10,000* towards your UWA College Diploma in Engineering
receive up to AUD $9,000* towards your UWA College for your Diploma in Computer and Data Science
receive up to AUD $8,000* towards your UWA College Diploma in Commerce or UWA Foundation Program.
If you are successful in receiving a UWA College Success Scholarship, your scholarship information will be included in a re-issued Letter of Offer.

UWA College Family Discount
Do you have a sibling who has already studied with us? Or are you studying at UWA College, and your sibling(s) are ready to follow in your footsteps? If so, your family could be eligible for a 5% tuition fee discount for each additional sibling who joins us in Perth.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible, you must have one or more family members studying at UWA College.
To apply for the discount, you or your sibling must submit a request for the family discount alongside the course application of all siblings applying to study at UWA College.
The discount is available in combination with our other scholarships and is a one-off discount.

The University of Western Australia (UWA) scholarships
UWA offers a range of scholarships which you may be eligible for when you progress to your UWA degree.
Terms and conditions
UWA College reserves the right to, at any time, remove, change or reduce the value of our scholarships without prior notice.
UWA College Success Scholarship
Students are required to pay 50% of their total tuition fee to accept their offer. Scholarships are awarded automatically; no separate application is required. All academic pathways at UWA College are eligible. Sponsored students are not eligible for this scholarship.
UWA College staff will assess UWA College Success Scholarships, following an offer to study at UWA College in 2024. Final amount awarded will vary based on your UWA College course, nationality and academic performance. In some regions, you will be required to attend a formal interview as part of the scholarship process.
UWA College Family Discount
The UWA College Family Discount is offered as a one-off discount per additional sibling. If siblings are studying/applying at the same time, the discount applies to the program of study of which tuition fees are lower. To qualify for the discount, students must request it at the application stage. Proof that the student claiming the discount is related to someone who has applied for or is studying a UWA College course may be requested. All UWA College courses of study are eligible for the discount.
