What was the rationale behind this new program launch?

The course was, originally, designed for the creative side of film and tv production where students learn the practical side of the industry. Honing their skills using UEA’s state-of-the-art TV studio – a professional environment supported by a team of experienced producers, directors and engineers. With the introduction of media and film studies to this course, students are able to follow another stream, discovering the application, history and influence of media in our everyday lives, and understanding their place in this increasingly digitised world. From film and TV to online media, examining a wealth of media forms. They’ll also have the chance to explore their own creative applications of these different media, preparing them for a diverse range of career paths.
