New program for 2024: International Foundation in Nursing at INTO University of Stirling

Stirling International Foundation in Nursing

There’s a new healthcare pathway on the scene: the International Foundation in Nursing at INTO University of Stirling, designed to prepare international students for a degree – then a career – in the nursing profession. 

Students will prepare to enter Year 1 of a 3 or 4-year undergraduate nursing degree at the University of Stirling:  

  • Nursing degrees approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

  • Top 5 in Scotland for Nursing (The Complete University Guide 2023 and Guardian University Guide 2023).

  • 94% of graduates are working or pursuing further studies 15 months after completing their degree.

The University of Stirling's nursing degrees are taught by world-leading academics with strong and established research records, expertise in nursing practice and a wealth of world-class publications. Students will leave as confident practitioners, fully equipped to register with the NMC and join a healthcare team upon graduation. Plus, students from these courses have repeatedly won Student Nursing Times Awards.
