UK progression scholarships: apply now for September 2025

Help your students secure a brighter future with progression scholarships from our UK partner universities.
Upon their progression in the next academic year, successful INTO students may be eligible for a scholarship. Some progression scholarships are automatically applied, while others must be applied for and are more limited. Keep your students updated with this summary of progression scholarships available for students joining our partner universities from September 2025.
INTO City, University of London
Top-performing International Foundation students at INTO City can receive up to £3,000. These scholarships are split across 6 of City’s academic schools as follows:
6 available for students progressing to Bayes Business School
3 available for students progressing to School of Science and Technology
2 available for students progressing to City Law School
2 available for students progressing to the School of Policy and Global Affairs
1 available for students progressing to the School of Communication and Creativity
1 available for students progressing to the School of Health and Psychological Sciences
INTO Lancaster University
International Foundation students who achieve a 75% grade at INTO Lancaster will automatically be given progression scholarships worth £6,000 (£2,000 for each year) throughout their undergraduate studies.
A £5,000-worth scholarship awaits Pre-Master's students who achieve 70% on their program. Successful students are automatically granted the Lancaster University Global Scholarship – Postgraduate upon progression.
INTO Manchester in partnership with Manchester Metropolitan University
International Foundation students moving up to Manchester Metropolitan University in September 2025 may receive a scholarship of up to £6,000 throughout their studies (£2,000 per year). International Year One students could reduce their tuition fees to £4,000 (£2,000 per year). Students’ eligibility will be assessed when they apply to study at Manchester Met.
INTO Manchester in partnership with The University of Manchester
INTO Manchester students who will progress to The University of Manchester in September 2025 may receive 1 of 2 exclusive progression scholarships:
Future Leaders Progression Scholarship
Upon meeting the conditions, International Foundation students taking The University of Manchester pathway could be awarded tuition fee discounts of up to £9,000 throughout their studies (£3,000 per year) through the Future Leaders Progression Scholarships. To apply, prospective students need to complete the application form http://into.courses/futureleadersscholarship on or before 2 September 2025. 15 Year Anniversary Scholarship INTO Manchester has extended its 15 Year Anniversary Scholarship for 2024–25. This exclusive scholarship award is split per faculty:

Faculty of Science and Engineering

INTO Newcastle University
An unlimited number of scholarship awards will be given to International Foundation, Year One and Graduate Diploma students, subject to meeting the qualification requirements upon their progression to Newcastle University. No application is required for the scholarship.
A £3,000 tuition fee reduction in Year 1 of their undergraduate studies. Confirmed students must achieve a final overall EAP of 65%, a final academic weighted average of at least 70% and meet all progression requirements to qualify for this scholarship.
Enhanced Progression Scholarships
Eligible students from selected countries are further supported financially with Enhanced Progression Scholarships. This scholarship will only be available to students from Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Singapore, Pakistan, South Korea, Africa and Latin America.

Pre-Master's students are also eligible for the Enhanced Progression Scholarships upon their progression to Newcastle University, reducing their tuition fees up to £4,000.
INTO Queen’s University Belfast
Queen’s University Belfast has launched new scholarship offerings for INTO Queen’s students who will continue their undergraduate studies at Queen’s in September 2025. Here’s how much students may be able to save throughout their studies with progression scholarships:

INTO University of East Anglia
Eligible International Foundation students can receive up to £4,000 in their Year 1 through a merit-based scholarship. Students may also apply for the Undergraduate International Excellence Scholarship through video application, which will help reduce up to £10,000 towards their tuition fees.
For prospective postgraduate students, UEA offers Pre-Master's Progression Scholarship to selected students from different nationalities. A £4,000 worth of scholarship awaits each eligible student and will automatically be deducted from their Master’s degree tuition fees at UEA.

INTO University of Exeter
Eligible International Foundation students can receive up to £5,000 in their Year 1 at the university.
International Foundation and International Year One (excluding psychology) students from selected countries* may also receive bigger discounts through the Exclusive Exeter Scholarship. Outstanding International Foundation students may save up to £5,000 in Year 1, and £3,000 in Year 2 and 3 – or a total of £11,000. Eligible International Year One students, on the other hand, will receive £3,000 in 2 years at the university (a total of £6,000).
* Target regions and countries include Middle East and Africa, South Asia, South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Latin America, Vietnam, Central Asia and Caucasus.
