Students are at the heart of everything we do at UWA College, so you’ll receive a fantastic range of student-centered support from the moment you arrive.   

Our welcoming Student Services team will help you settle in Perth and remain your first point of contact for any additional support you may need. 

  • 24/7 support – a 24-hour telephone helpline for out-of-hours emergency support.   

  • Welcome Desk - always someone there to listen and help with any issues you may have.

  • Social events – settle in, make friends and experience something new. 

  • Academic liaisons – there to help with any academic questions and monitor your progress.  

  • Under-18 support – a bespoke team providing extra care and support for students under 18.

Ensuring your study success and wellbeing

Get to know your teachers, fellow students and your way around campus before you start your studies. 

You’ll take part in an Orientation program in your first week, giving you all the information you need to succeed at UWA College.   

During Orientation you’ll:  

  • meet the UWA College staff 

  • receive a tour of the campus and Perth 

  • attend welcome sessions that help familiarize you with living and studying at UWA College 

  • visit IKEA for a chance to shop for all those must-have items 

  • have the opportunity to ask questions 

  • attend social events to introduce you to the different clubs and societies, help you settle in and make new friends. 

Your teachers at UWA College are knowledgeable and experienced at teaching international students. They’ll help you adjust to your new learning environment and excel in your studies.  

You’ll learn through a variety of methods, including lectures, tutorials, group work and presentations. And with university-style teaching, you’ll start preparing for your degree from your very first class with us.
